There are 6 folders that must be manually CHMODed to 777 (if you have the full install including all modules:

The first TWO modules you must CHMOD to 777 (full read write permissions) are:

1.  Your Install folder   	- 	777
2.  /purl_admin/ 		-	777

If you are installing the script to the domain root, then that means you will have to set the domain root to CHMOD 777.  Depending on circumstances, we don't always recommend this on a domain that is running other software or scripts because it can compromise security.

THE BEST SCENARIO is to set up a totally unique domain with nothing else except the DynamicURLS Software!!!  This will generate the best results and produce the lowest risk.

If you purchased additional modules, then the following folders and modules also require permission settings:


PRO MODULE

/purl_admin/modules/pro/data_mapping/csv_bin/

REPORTING MODULE

/purl_admin/modules/reporting/clickheat/cache/
/purl_admin/modules/reporting/clickheat/config/
/purl_admin/modules/reporting/clickheat/logs/ 

Set Safe_Mode = off in your PHP.ini files
If you don't see the folders mentioned above, create them.

Other things may be needed, too... check the User Guide.

But, basically, that's it.

Now go to your web browser, and call up the following file:

http://www.YourDomain.com/Somefolder/install.php

Make sure you have the following for MySQL:
MySQL Database Name (The name of the database)
MySQL Database Username (The name of the web user with administrative permissions
MySQL Database Password - The administrative password of the webuser

Enter the details into the web form, and the installer will take care of everything else for you.

Read the user guide. ..  it has lots of good stuff!


INSTALLING MODULES:
EMAIL, PRO, UNLIMITED, REPORTING

If you purchased the full version, you would received additional modules with the script:  EMAIL, PRO, UNLIMITED and/or REPORTING.

In order to make these modules work, just upload them as-is to the /Purl_Admin/Modules/ FOLDER.  Installation is automatic.  You WILL need to set some folder permissions for the PRO module as well as the REPORTING module.

If you don't see the folders, create them on your webserver.

/purl_admin/modules/pro/data_mapping/csv_bin/

REPORTING MODULE

/purl_admin/modules/reporting/clickheat/cache/
/purl_admin/modules/reporting/clickheat/config/

Chances are, you downloaded everything -- the full version with the 30 day trial.  if your software suddenly went inactive, it's because you did't buy a license.
