Second: unlike BRIGHT overbearing colors, Goldenrod is still easy on the eyes. Darker colors like greens, red and dark blue allow very little contrast with black ink making it hard to read. Goldenrod is still a nice attention getting color but it’s also easy to read, so you don’t get a headache just looking at the postcard.
Also remember that printing with color ink RARELY (if ever) improves response…we’ve even seen it reduce response. If you do use color ink the best place is always in the headline. Use Red ink in the headline and leave the rest of it black…
